Domestic Partnerships on Hold

So, domestic partnerships in Oregon are on hold pending a hearing as to whether the state appropriately counted the signatures trying to overturn the new measure. I wish I could say I'm surprised. I hope the families who signed the petition to overturn the law experience divorce in the new year. I hope the leaders of the Alliance Defense fund, the anti gay rights group, are turned down when they try to solicit sex in public rest rooms in the new year.

Oh my God, Morris, your blog is making me realize how much I MISS YOU!!! OK, so Maine just passed a Civil Union law, and, as I think you know, this already exists in NH and VT also, and I think MA. I am not real smart on this issue, but what is the difference between a Civil Union law and Domestic Partnership law? Should you guys be moving to New England? Please??? :-) And yes, fascist bigots who have nothing better to do than deny gay citizens their civil liberties should definitely have to face divorce, or possibly dismemberment, although which member would be dissed I will leave up to your imagination. I'm still dumb about Blogger - how do I subscribe to your blog anyway??? Duh...
